RAF Flying Clubs’ Association (RAFFCA)
Formed on the 1st April 2001, the aim of the Association is to facilitate the Air Force Board’s objective of affording Servicemen and women, regardless of rank or trade, the opportunity of learning to fly at the lowest cost.

Due to strong and long-standing links between the Air League Educational Trust (ALET) and RAF Flying Clubs, RAFFCA is keen to encourage young Air League members in their flying. Over the years many members have benefitted by flying their scholarship or bursary at an RAF Flying Club and it has been agreed that after completing an ALET scholarship or bursary, League members can apply for membership of their local RAF flying club to allow them to develop their skills further. This opportunity allows members to fly within the Service environment and to experience face to face contact with those serving in the RAF.

There are 14 RAFFCA clubs in the UK and each club is run as an individual entity. Currently, eight of these clubs (listed below) have agreed to accept League members. Joining is an individual agreement between a League member and the club, and not the RAF or any of its branches. To take advantage of this offer, members should contact their local RAF Flying Club and apply for club membership using their Air League membership card for identification.
