The Air League in Parliament debate on 16th July – Air and Space: Inspiring the Next Generation Air Force, will see leading industry experts discuss a number of issues spanning defence policy, procurement programmes, the technological opportunities enabling multi domain operations and the skills agenda for industry and the armed forces.

We are delighted to be supported by Airbus and Marshall Group and have a number of experts on our panel:

Howard Wheeldon, renowned defence industry analyst and commentator.

Jessica Poole, System Design Engineer in Defence Future Programmes at Rolls-Royce.

Rick Greenwood, Chief Technology Officer, Skynet & Head of Engineering and Operations Airbus Defence and Space Secure Communications UK/US.

David Watts, Senior Key Account Manager, Air at Airbus UK.

Mark Phillips, Head of Government Affairs for Lockheed Martin UK.

The UK’s technological expertise in Space and its importance to the economy will be highlighted by our colleagues from Airbus.  Working together to ensure that young people are inspired to embark upon a career in aerospace and defence is of paramount importance and will have a valuable perspective from a young Rolls-Royce engineer. What needs to be done programmatically to ensure the UK does not diminish its industrial capability will also be debated, as well as, the need for greater cohesion across the industry. We look forward to seeing you there.
