POSTPONED: The 2020 Young Aviators’ Dinner

April 25 @ 11:00 pm
It is with great regret that owing to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, the Chief Executive along with the Air League’s Chairman and Board of Trustees, have concluded that the most responsible course of action is to postpone the Young Aviators’ Dinner, which was to be held on 25th April at the RAF Club.
We are pleased to announce that the 2020 Young Aviators’ Dinner will take place on Saturday 25th April 2020 at The Royal Air Force Club, Piccadilly, London.
Jointly hosted by the Air League and the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, the 2020 dinner has a continued interest to inspire and support young members from any background in the UK to pursue a career as a military or civilian pilot, or similar roles within the UK’s aviation and aerospace industries’.

In 2020 we’re delighted to welcome Squadron Leader Mike Ling, the Red Arrows’ longest-serving pilot and current pilot with the Blades Aerobatic Team. During his career, Mike completed 10 seasons with the Red Arrows, piloting a Red Hawk 2,585 times during 1,765 flying hours.

The dinner is a unique event for those looking at a career within aviation and aerospace and gives members of both organisations the opportunity to network and meet airline and military recruiters and representatives. We will welcome recruitment representatives from the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm, the Army Air Corps and the Royal Air Force, as well as recruitment and flight operation representatives from British Airways, easyJet, Virgin Atlantic and 2Excel Aviation.

The evening will commence at 6.15pm with a welcome reception in the Churchill Bar, followed by a three-course dinner in the Sovereigns’ room at 7.00pm.
